The cat Brody Nankervis is sitting in the doorway and I know what she’s thinking: ‘How are you going to find the time to get everything done, pyscho?’

I don’t know the answer. I really need to find a way to keep writing brand new work, even if it’s just for an hour a day. The editing/website design/emailing/social media work/and all the marketing is necessary and something I’ve been half-hearted about in the past – and I’m happy to have developed a better work ethic around that – but if I don’t get at least some time to lose myself in a challenging, fictional world, I’ll go bat-shit crazy and eventually burn out.

So that’s it. At least one hour a day of fast-paced creative work into Series Three. I’ll prioritise it and make it happen.

That okay with you Brody? Allow some compassion to eek through your contemptuous glare. I’m learning as I go. I can do this.
